How appropriate! Well, the movie (Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events) isn’t bad either.. but the title sequence combines many of my inspirations in one amazing package!! The Bizarre, the Mysterious, Shadow Theater, Escher-esque Spaces, Woodcut prints, White Chalk, Asian Art, Asian Textiles, Modern Jazz Inspired Music… wish the entire movie had been done in this style – I wouldn’t have fidgeted through it, then – aaw, I am being facetiously harsh – The movie is great, as are the set design and art direction – but I definitely enjoyed the title sequence more!

Dude, you are sooo good, I went to school with Jamie, he is an amazing talent. Damn for not being an animator you really do know your stuff! Very impressed.

Jamie’s credit sequence is the best part of this movie. Often dreamed of working with him again.

He was developing a game at Pixar right when I started.

Recently Jamie completed several united Airline spots that are really strong.
