Otto Nuckel: In Between Frans Masereel and Lynd Ward

26 Jun

Picture books by the artists I am completely taken up by currently arrived today. Destiny by Otto Nuckel – a German painter, graphic designer, illustrator and cartoonist – bridges Masereel’s scathing social attacks and Lynd Ward’s frightening narratives.

Just an amazing work! I would very much like to find a reprint of “Destiny” so I can see the work in it’s entirety.
